I have just come across some cool pics from the DR Hadwen Trust Gala Dinner that I helped to organise and where we filmed for VeggieVision as well as filming the Dr Hadwen Trust DVD (that you can buy) and will add them here...................!

Ok ok - everyone asks about the super cool Benjamin Zephaniah

So, what can I say - hmmmmmm?? - Well he is a really talented and compassionate guy - and of course a fellow vegan. I cant think how or when we first got talking a few years ago but as well as filming with Benjamin for VeggieVision he has also come to some of my Veg Fests and calls me from time to time - which is great!

I remember when he turned down his OBE - he called me and said that he had got over 5,000 letters and just a handful were negative - the rest were supporting him and congratulating him on saying no. I was over the moon that during this hectic time he still had time for a chat with me )

As you can imagine Benjamin is asked to many events, asked to speak and support different organizations and charities and I know he couldn't do more than he does. Last year he spent part of the year in China and Jamaica.

Benjamin is a huge martial arts and fitness fan and exercises every morning (he has a gym and sauna at the bottom of his garden!)

When we filmed with him for VeggieVision we stayed behind to watch his one man show too - it was fantastic and I would strongly recommend that you don't miss his tours. He told us of his upbringing and how it has lead to where he is today - An inspiration to us all.
