If you missed last week you missed a live interview with the wonderful Juliet from Viva!, Carol Barksfield an expert talking about Light Therapy and super Elaine Fairfax from Animal Friends – and how she donates every penny to animal charities. How amazing is that!?

This week I have lined up some more fab guests again including Rose Elliot who will be sharing her recipe for a yummy chestnut pate en croute, Rose says - “Apart from the stuffed white nut roast which my family always insist on having on Christmas Day, this is my favourite veggie Christmas main course and everyone adores it.”

I do hope that you tune in via the website .

Friday 14th and 21st live from 7 – 9pm.

We feel strongly at VeggieVision that as veggies and vegans we deserve our own internet TV station – and more! All the team work as hard as possible to bring this to you – and there is so much more that we aim to do to make VeggieVision bigger and better as well. This all depends on you as without viewers there isn’t a VeggieVision so please do tell others, get involved and support where you can. Thanks so much.

Hi! Facebook and MySpace - Please join us!

Friday, October 26. 2007

Where does the time fly too? We are not far off of the next World Vegan Day - as well as Vegan month. Lots of exciting things are happening all over the world and needless to say please do grab your camera and film what ever you do to celebrate as we would love to add it to VeggieVision.

We have some amazing people filming at the moment and a HUGE thanks to everyone who has already sent in footage too. It isn't easy adding it to VeggieVision and takes a bit of time but our intention is to do this on a much more regular basis now.

We have been working on the MYSPACE page as well as setting up a FACEBOOK group - So if you are on these please do sign up and please tell your chums too.

We get an wonderful amount of viewers to VeggieVision (but we always want more!) and getting emails that say “I was a lazy vegan but now I am inspired to get active” and “I felt very lonely as I didn’t know any vegetarians – now I don’t feel so alone because of VeggieVision” makes the late nights and extra work all worthwhile!

Have a super weekend and will be back soon

The UK's First Veggie Radio Show!

Friday, August 3. 2007

!Oh my god!

Its been so long since I wrote the blog – I am soooo sorry!!!

How are you? I hope you are enjoying this super bit of sunshine :-O)

Well needless to say it’s been another crazy month or so – I hope that you tuned into my radio shows on Gateway FM a local radio station last month– as they asked me to present a veggie radio show!! How amazing is that! I was so nervous on the first show, the 2nd one was a bit better, the 3rd one went a bit wrong as I felt more confident and I enjoyed the last one as I chatted a great deal about my favourite subject – yes you guessed it why the world must be vegan!!

We had some fab guests so pls do tune in soon.

MANY MANY thanks for the super emails and calls we got – and the programmes will be added to VeggieVision soon too.

Also on Phoenix FM, another local radio station I am now a regular guest on Charlie’s drive time show (my show will be coming soon!) and after we chatted about being vegan Charlie decided he was going to go vegan!! He wasn’t even veggie!! The lovely guys at Sheese and Fry’s as well as other fab veggie companies kindly sent him lots of goodies to try and he is still going strong as vegan!!!

And more great news – you may remember super Cat and Seb who worked at The Vegan Society for many years - well we are all working on VeggieTimes the UK’s FIRST veggie newspaper – maybe you saw a copy a while back – the 250,000 that we printed were all snapped up – one of the journalists went veggie after working on it with me, journalists and celebrities subscribed from all over the UK – It was such a big job and nearly finished me off!!! So we are moving forward together and I can’t think of a better team!

Anyway I better shut up for a bit – I have some more fab news but you will just have to wait for a bit!!!

Thanks and love you lots

Karin and the super cool team

The Secret Combination One Day Seminar is our cornerstone event, a unique and intensive experience. Rohan Weerasinghe & Deri James had a vision 2 years ago and that vision has now been realised. For your chance to book on to this event go to www.thesecretcombination.com.

Thursday, May 24. 2007

I just had to tell you the most amazing news – Tesco are now not selling the land that Hopefield Animal Sanctuary are on!

Horah!

I can’t tell you the relief for Ernie (80) and Paula (73) to know that the 200 animals they have saved are safe – for the time being

A huge thanks to Tesco for making the right decision!

As with many animal sanctuaries they still need supporters and funds so please do drop them a line if you can help.

Good night!
