Tesco are now not selling the land that Hopefield Animal Sanctuary are on!

Wednesday, May 23. 2007

I just had to tell you the most amazing news – Tesco are now not selling the land that Hopefield Animal Sanctuary are on!

Horah!

I can’t tell you the relief for Ernie (80) and Paula (73) to know that the 200 animals they have saved are safe – for the time being

A huge thanks to Tesco for making the right decision!

As with many animal sanctuaries they still need supporters and funds so please do drop them a line if you can help.

Good night!

Happy National Vegetarian Week!

Monday, May 21. 2007

Hiya!

Happy National Vegetarian Week!

Hope that you are doing something to get the message out there! And if so please film it and sent it in.

We got a full page in The Essex Enquirer newspaper last week and have been interviewed by a few others too – Sky TV have also been in contact so must call them back today!

The amount of viewers we are getting for VeggieVision now is wonderful and I always enjoying seeing the numbers increasing (but can never have enough viewers so pls do tell others!) – & something else I find amazing is how people find VeggieVision – these are a few of the searches that people have carried out this week and have found VeggieVision!!!......

vegan tv
internet tv
the veggie gang
jodie marsh
variety of eggs available
veggie news karin
groovy veggie chick

and the best one........ famous trampolines (!!?)

Have a great National Veggie Week and spk soon

Vegan wishes, as always K x

Hiya VeggieVision Viewer!

A huge welcome to all of our new My Space Friends - If you have a My Space page pls do add VeggieVision as a friend.

VV My Space!

All is going amazingly this end - still working on moving VV forward as well as running the PR business and working with some amazing people. Its great when I open a magazine and know I got them there!

I saw a fantastic speaker the other week too - really turned around how I see money - He said if you want to save the rain forrest - then BUY IT! How wonderful to be in the financial position to be able to fund animal and vegan related projects - as well as do tons more for VeggieVision - well one day and hopefully soon!

Please do keep your ideas and mini programmes coming - I know we have a lot of content to be added to VeggieVision and these ideally will be added to the new look.

New comp coming soon too.

Thats it from me for now, as always I promise to write again soon!

Oh Yeah We Love Vegan Easter Eggs

Friday, April 6. 2007

Hellllllllllllllo

I know its been far too long I am sorry and will make it up I promise - as yes we have a super list of vegan Easter eggs ready to share with you - thanks to the lovely Vegan Family :-O)

Here goes............

Chunky dairy-free eggs - colourful foil wrapping, about the size of a 'creme egg', available in health food shops.

Green and Blacks Maya Gold Easter Egg (organic and fair traded) - about £2.89 from health food shops and some supermarkets - a good sized egg, boxed and wrapped in gold foil - this wins our "best buy" though the chocolate is quite strong tasting which some children might not like

Green and Black's Dark Chocolate Egg

Kinnerton Eggs:
Groovy Chick Dairy Free Egg seems to be available in Woolworths and various supermarkets
Luxury Dark Chocolate Easter Egg (comes with a bar of choc. too) - again Woolies and various supermarkets, we got one in Asda.
Bart Simpson dairy-free eggs have been spotted in Tescos and Waitrose (might only be larger stores) and also on our kitchen table

Stamp Collection Organic Dairy Free Bunny (larger Tesco stores have this)

Lindt solid 70% cocoa mini eggs (available in many supermarkets) - gold foil wrapping (there is a chance of cross contamination with most companies that make milk chocolate too) - also the elusive, dark chocolate bunny is vegan :-)

Whizzer's mini eggs (available in health food stores, some branches of Sainsbury's and the Veganstore below) - about 69p

Booja Booja do a large egg with truffles for about £10 - the Hazelnut Crunch Rocher and Around Midnight Expresso varieties are vegan - available from health food shops and Animal Aid below.

Dietary Needs Direct a fabulous selection of vegan Easter goodies including carob and chocolate eggs of various sizes in a variety of pretty packaging, bunnies, chicks (love the hatching chick lolly!).

Montezuma's have quite a few vegan items in their Easter selection - love the giant dark egg and the dragon egg with ginger!

The Veganstore always have a good selection for Easter.

Animal Aid have a nice selection.

Hotel Chocolat have quite a few vegan items including the serious dark fix egg, not cheap but gorgeous for a special treat.

I stuffed my face tonight and feel quite sick now - serves me right for being so greedy

Oh well off to bed

Happy Vegan Easter

Whats Going On!?

Monday, January 15. 2007

Hey!

Did you have a good crimbo and Happy New Year? I was really pleased to have a bit of a break as its been non stop but of course it all seems like ages ago now.

Lots on the go - have had a huge revamp for VeggieVision and its our New Years Resolution to keep the competitions updated on a regular basis - especially as we have so many lovely companies giving us tons of goodies to give away!

After a few silly people messing us about we are moving the new design forward - horah! And we are working our way through adding all the super mini programmes that we have filmed and that you have mega kindly sent in - (please keep them coming!!)

Good news on the Hopefield/Tesco front (email me if you need more info) - We got the regional TV involved and we have been asked to film for Channel 5 (and we did that Saturday) and ITV called too - which is V exciting.

And yep the next VeggieEvent is coming soon - I fancied a good laugh so we are having a bl@@dy tasty 3 course meal, with lashings of wine - and some top top West End comedians.

Click here for more info and I will seriously say if you do want to book DO NOT leave it any later as we will sell out!!!

Anyway I am going to shoot off and love you and leave you as I am off to bed - but I promise it wont be for so long next time.

With a big hug from all at VV n me.
